Rotate a PDF
Scanned documents come out sideways surprisingly often. Rotating the view in your PDF reader doesn't fix the file — the next person to open it sees it sideways again. This changes the stored rotation so it's saved for good, on every page or only the ones you name.
How to use it
- Choose your PDF file.
- Pick a rotation and, optionally, which pages it applies to.
- Click Rotate and download the corrected PDF.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. This page contains the whole tool — the JavaScript that does the work runs inside your browser tab, on your own machine. There is no server to upload to. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run the tool. You will not see your file go anywhere. You can also disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
Why didn't rotating in my PDF reader work?
Most readers rotate the on-screen view only and don't write the change back to the file unless you explicitly save it. This tool sets the page rotation inside the document itself, so it stays rotated wherever it's opened next.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Leave the page range blank to rotate everything, or enter something like 2,5-8 to rotate just those pages.
