Merge PDF files
Every popular PDF merger uploads your document to their servers and deletes it later, they say. If you're combining signed contracts, invoices or anything with a client's details on it, that's a needless disclosure. This runs in your browser instead — the merge happens on your own machine and no watermark is added.
How to use it
- Choose two or more PDF files. They're combined in the order listed.
- Click Merge.
- Download the combined PDF.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. This page contains the whole tool — the JavaScript that does the work runs inside your browser tab, on your own machine. There is no server to upload to. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run the tool. You will not see your file go anywhere. You can also disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
Is there a watermark or a page limit?
No to both. There's no server cost to us, so there's nothing to ration and nothing to advertise on your document.
Will it work on a password-protected PDF?
Not currently. Encrypted PDFs need the password supplied before their pages can be read, and that isn't supported yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
Page content, images and vector graphics carry over exactly. Interactive form fields and bookmarks may not survive the merge — that's a limitation of how pages are copied between documents, not a quality setting.
